This was short but sweet and with a whole lot of sexy closer to the end of the book. I liked Piper and Ryder together. Because the book is shorter in length, readers don't really get to delve into the nitty-gritty of either of the main characters, but what we do get is a novella that has an interesting couple and an engaging story. Piper and Ryder have parts of themselves that were pleasantly surprising, and while the ending isn't necessarily a happily-ever-after, it was a happy-for-now that left me pleasantly happy and hopeful for these two. Piper's best friend, Mallory, was a hoot and I certainly wouldn't mind reading more about her in the future. 4.5 stars for Switch Bidder. ♥

Such a cute story. I really enjoyed this quick read. It was a little short and I would love to read more about these characters, but I had so much fun reading it. Oh and I laughed out loud at that ending. I adore Sara's writing and I can't wait for more from her.

Funny, light hearted, and irresitably cute--Switch Bidder is everything I look for in a Romance novella!

Sara Ney dishes out a new set of characters in this new Jock Hard series installment that revolves Piper, a super introverted and shy college student, and Ryder, a baseball player who has been Piper's long time crush. When a charity auction win lands Piper the opportunity to finally get close to Ryder, she runs--however, Ryder isn't going anywhere without a fight.

I love love LOVE this novella, and gobbled it up in one sitting. Originally published as an exclusive audiobook for the Read me Romance podcast (which is free and I highly recommend listening too!); Ney has published the finished copy of the short story and I am stupid excited to have this in my collection! Piper and Ryder had me laughing and swooning during my binge read/listen and I honestly wish there was more of them that I could get my hands on.

I honestly related to Piper on such a huge level in the short amount of time and I feel like if we ever got a novel size book from her perspective, my investment and connection with her would only grow.

The only problem I had with the book was how almost abrupt the ending was. Left on a slight cliffhanger which had me immediately taken out of my swoon fest to ask "really? That's how it ends?!" For that reason and that reason alone, I did deduct half a star, as the abruptness threw off the pacing and made the ending feel rushed when it didn't need to be.

Here is to hoping that we get more soon!

Finally a book I actually enjoyed a lot in this podcast. I just feel like nothing much happened and just when things were getting interesting-- it was over.

I didn't like heroine's best friend. I guess she wants what's best for Piper but she should listen to her when she says she doesn't want something. Piper complained about not being noticed and how ordinary she was. I don't usually find it annoying but book was short enough as it was.

Ryder finds Piper sweet and adorable. He has liked her for awhile but never made a move because of a bro code. I found it adorable how much she freaked out when Ryder called her.

Read Me Romance Podcast

This was my very first audio/podcast book and oh my!
I really liked the narration of Jason Clake. He truly brought Ryder to life.

The story itself was short and sweet, I was hoping that the ending may have been longer in the ebook version and although it wasn't I'm okay with that.
