I really liked this one, which surprised me given that it was about genetic engineering and biotechnology which isn't my favourite subject on the planet. It was easy to follow and didn't get bogged down in the science/technology behind everything. A thoroughly good read.

Read this for book club! Was pretty interesting liked the scientific aspects of it and how fast paced it was. Also pretty easy to read and entertaining imo

Interesting premise that's so ham-fistedly narrated and emotionally random I quit about half-way through to listen to [b:The Blinding Knife|12499290|The Blinding Knife (Lightbringer, #2)|Brent Weeks|https://i.gr-assets.com/images/S/compressed.photo.goodreads.com/books/1659765885l/12499290._SY75_.jpg|17484647] for the third time.

Great book. I needed a book to get me back into reading and although it took me a few months to finish, I kept returning because the story was too good not to finish. Very well paced, keeps you on your toes.  I love sci fi and this was a warm welcome back to the genre. Excited to explore more books by Crichton.
