It gave me a lot of insight as to how culture is built. It includes a lot of concrete examples from successful groups, which can be applied in a lot of different organizational settings (not just work, in my opinion).

I found this book to be more focused on case studies of successful businesses than how to create a productive culture. Most of the examples are business or professional groups, and while I found the stories interesting I didn't always feel like there were hard and set protocols to create a positive culture. This was an okay read, but not one that I'd recommend.

A good book with lots of nice little stories. Even though it had a lot of excellent leadership ideas, it was lacking in entertainment. It’s kind of funny because at the end of the book he says that that good stories need a problem to solve. But all of his stories are about the best teams. There are no problems to overcome, which makes it less interesting.
