The satire was fun. Quick and enjoyable as a one-off.

This is only the first volume so I don't really know how this will shape out to be but I thought it was a nice and easy read.

I am familiar with this part of the anime! No surprises here! But the mosquito woman struck me as ridiculously horny this time around. LOL.

This is the first manga I have read in a very long time. It was an enjoyable, quick read. If my local library had the second, I may pick it up. Or maybe not. I dunno. It didn't evoke strong reactions from me, just mild curiosity. *shrugs*

I am not a fan of action manga visuals. I prefer drama manga genre.
That being said I liked the sarcastic tone of the main character. There was something about his despairing view of the world that spoke to me and I liked it!
Visually it stayed very true to the anime version.

Well, that’s really what this series is about. Some of the monsters/villains were cool but then, you know, they’d get KO’d with one punch by our main character.
