My second book for Read O Rama.
This graphic novel gives an inside look on Spinner and Liberty during the summer. Spinner is trying to make it up to Darcy and Liberty is dealing with giving up her son and still having feelings for JT.
The art was interesting and pretty easy to tell which characters were who. My only real gripe is that the art sometimes goes into the stapled part of the book, making it difficult to read—needed more of a margin there.
Story wise it better explains Darcy and Spinner’s interaction on the show after Bible camp. It was somewhat amusing that his “guardian angel” was formed after Paige. I liked how Kendra got a cameo. The characters were pretty spot on in this and I enjoyed the humor.
Overall this was a fun addition to the Degrassi series.
