So, good news-bad news situation here. The good news is that the focus of this book is refreshingly on the friendship of Vonnie & Monique over BOY! drama. The scrapes the two get themselves into are pretty funny at times. And Monique is a real hoot.

The bad news? The girls face some pretty gross misogyny that isn’t called out at all. Also, Vonnie is a boring AF Mary Sue.
