I had the privilege of being an ARC reader for MT Addams "Hidden Claw".
I can see what the author is trying to do with their story but sadly it gets lost along the way.
The opening sets up, a trafficking ring that may/may not lead down one road before hitting us with some time layer, where the story line loses itself.
Muddled with poorly written sex scenes, it struggles to find the balance of smutty with story and smut written by someone whose trying to keep up with the whole "me write this? Pfft. Never." Mask.
Another thing that ruined this story is at the beginning - middle, it seemed like it was going the route of trafficking than leading to BDSM like environment before throwing in a crime plot, which felt unnecessary because it hadn't given clues in previous chapters.
I wish MT Addams best of luck with their writing career but their not an author for me.

Holy hotness! This book was so good! I loved the dynamics, especially by the end. You definitely get several boxes ticked. Mystery…check, top knot h spice…check, possessive/obsessed MMC…check, golden retriever (IFYKYK)…check. M.T. Addams knocked this out of the park!

This was different from what I’ve been reading and I really liked it!
Jasmine is a domme and takes in “rescues”, in this case it’s Kodi and Malek.
There’s a lot happening in this story, will Kodi get his wish to be more than a pet to Jasmine? Will Malek stop fighting and submit? And will a stalker/killer end it all?

Hidden Claws is a dark romance standalone, that does end with an HEA.
This is also MT Addams's debut. Normally, I'm hesitant about trying new authors, but given the trope list, I needed to give them a try. Man did this author knock it out of the park!!! It was a completely fresh take to read about a dominatrix and two male subs. I mean, damn, it was HOOOOOT and very well done!! Again, this is a dark romance there's many triggers such as unaliving, dr*g usage, stalker, MM, MMF, heavy pet play, BDSM, non-con, manipulation, humiliation, Degradation.
Definitely, worth the read!!!

This a very taboo book and trigger warnings should be read before reading.
Malek has been in and out of jail since he was 15. When a mysterious woman offers a deal to help keep him out of jail he quickly signs it. It seems good until he wakes up after being drugged in a cage.
This is a dark romance with MMF and a FemDom. The book never slows down and you are drawn in from the first chapter. I love how these men both react to Jasmine.
There is a semi plot within the spice dealing with how jasmine became the way she is and how she deals with her past.
