It was okay, didn't really enlighten me that much. I don't think this is a book for a starting startup, but if you've been an entrepreneur before (like me), you do recognise the traits and qualities he talks about.

Peter Thiel is a bad person. There's lots of stuff in this book that seems just plain wrong. Maybe the overall thrust of the book is wrong. But.

It's short, cogently written, and has an undeniable perspective. And there are certainly useful nuggets all over the place.

Probably not the target audience for this but thought I might learn something anyways.

• This needed to be more cohesive
• Contains ideas and topics that are all over the place and don’t end up connecting to one another

i love this book because of its graphs. Maybe this is because of my engineering thinking style. But this book is about building and seeing technologies' results and processes regarding to constructing start-ups, businesses, ngo and our lives, for anyone. Saying "tech about our lives", is not radical my view also this book is a summary(maybe paraphrasing) book for meaning the tech (according to some views. Not completely opinions based on technology; this will be increased the volume of book). This is wonderfull by its volume. You won't find like this concentrate and enjoyable book. And thanks to Thiel's PayPal experiences.

Quotes. Mantras. Gyaan. This seems like one of those books that's less of a guide and more of a ruler to constantly measure yourself against. Definitely a book that demands revisiting and perhaps holds further secrets that have eluded me the first time over. It's not really a start up guide so much as it is a way of technological thinking.

I really enjoyed the first half of this book. I honestly wish the whole thing could be more fleshed out. I’d love more in-depth information on startups from Thiel and Masters
