Books like these tend to be too immature for my taste but I'm not the target audience I just read books that I've always wished I could read as a child, kinda like ticking off a thing on my lifetime bucket list.
SpoilerKylie only started hating cheerleading and the cheerleaders because she was chosen as the mascot. At try-outs Kylie was already acting like one of them without being on the squad, so this makes me think she's just jealous. Sophie wasn't an angel either her expensive spending, trying to get Keisha to like her and outrightly letting her friendship with Kylie go to the dogs.

Liked it, just a little too young and short for me.

The first of the series. You know it's a good book when you have mean cheerleaders! The cymbal player, mule slayer etc. were good touches to the book. It was a bit too short for me.
