Another to Add to Your Cowboy TBR
This was such a fun read! I was looking for a fun and spicy cowboy romance and I found it!
This has all the good tropes- brother’s best friend, cowboy, secret relationship. There’s some suspense that answers the question about Gage’s past and NO THIRD ACT BREAKUP!
I loved the whole vibe of the bunkhouse and a real sense of found family. Blythe and Gage were so good together, it was so refreshing to see a brother’s best friend romance where the brother DOESN’T freak out when we learns of their relationship.
A great read, I didn’t want to put it down!

I just finished this book last night and rushed to share my thoughts with you all! This book hit a lot of my favorite tropes - brother’s best friend, small town romance, a little sneaking around, all thrown together with some mystery/suspense!
The spice was perfect and really built up the tension

I absolutely loved this!!!
I couldn’t put it down! (Got in trouble at work a few times for reading oops) There were twists I didn’t expect but I was so thrilled to see the character development! Great spice and romance, best friends sister/brothers friend tropes!!
I wish there was more I can’t wait for the next story of their lives!
““Hey, am I crazy or is that the girl you went on a date with a few weeks ago, Warren?”” Had me rolling on the ground I love this quote so dang much!!

• Smoking Gun
By Lainey Lawson •
☆☆☆☆
• ARC REVIEW - Possible spoilers •
•Blythe is a strong, independent young women who is determined to progress in her professional life to give her family the luxuries she feels they're missing out on.
• Gage is a grumpy cowboy with a past that haunts him, if he keeps working hard and doesn't let anyone in then surely nothing can come back to taunt him
• I Loved the plot of this story and the characters development, Blythe struggled with her own happiness over trying to please everyone else. Something I think many readers could relate to. The story was never predictable and I didn't expect the plot at any point. Wasn't a third act break up which I actually really enjoyed.
• Adore the various tropes in this story
