I appreciated the representation. I also liked how dating apps and casual dating came into play. But like I said before, romance is probably not my genre even though I can appreciate it.

This is such a cute couple!! The way the story is told is interesting. It takes place in the modern setting through Likotsi's point of view with alternating chapters in Fabiola's point of view in the past when they were together during book 1. It really worked for me.

soooooo romantic. only alyssa cole can make me believe in a love story that takes place over, like, 3 days. likotsi is daddy as hell. (i imagined her as lena waithe. you're welcome.)

Sweet, hard-won queer love story

Likotski deserves every happiness! Fabiola comes through as a strong and complex character as well, matching a character we already know

Really cute novella. I loved both characters Fabiola and Likotsi. Wish it were longer as to give the characters a more well rounded story. For example, we don’t really know anything about Likotsi’s family or how she came to become the most trusted advisor to the
Prince. The book nudges well into the reluctant royals series and focuses on the chance second chance encounter trope. Not as strong as the other books in this series.

I LOATHE the title though!!!
