My 9th grade English teacher, Mrs. Peterson, will most likely always remember me for coming up to her desk and saying, "I HATED this book!!!" Probably because I am usually not so vehement.

Such a cute read. So easy to fall in love with Christopher. I really appreciated the narration of this book. It's a perspective that doesn't get a lot of representation

The book was losing me somewhere in the middle as the plot shifted away from the dog, but it quickly picked up again. Not sure all the Sherlock references tied into the book for me as much as I'm sure they were supposed to.

Kara and I listened to this book on CD when driving from Nashville to Philadelphia for Christmas. The main character has Asperger's - a form of autism - and the author gives an interesting perspective of how his mind works - how he perceives himself and how he is perceived by others.

I was so taken in by this story. Written from the point of view of an autistic boy, it really makes you see the world differently and appreciate the very basic pleasures that most of us have access to but don't always pay attention to. It's so much more than that, so read it :)
