slow-paced
There was nothing I liked about this book. It is pretty long yet it feels like nothing happens. Hardin and Tessa get into a fight because Hardin is being either childish or straight-up mean, Tessa tells him to stop, they make up (somehow?) and sleep together. This process happens over and over again. I did not like Anna Todd's writing or the characters and the only reason I read this is because I don't like to start series and not finish them.

After We Collided is a jumbled mess of stringy narrative paste that seems to collapse on itself the moment you think about any plot point for more than five seconds. It is fundamentally incapable of making its characters develop in organic, meaningful ways and the story seems to loop, repeating all the same slog that the first book ate through, only this time, it's even more sigh-inducing.

Liked the 1st book (After) slightly more. Keeping in mind that "After We Collided" is far from being a lyrical masterpiece, it still was very entertaining to read.
