A touching, if average, sea horror adventure. The scares are well written and the book manages to instil a sense of dread early on that carries through to a solid ending. The flashback scenes are particularly touching. Can’t give higher marks as the book is a bit predictable if you’ve  read anything like this before, but it’s still a fun ride.

This was such a good novella. Well written and captivating story. I was having a great time reading this cover to cover in one sitting. It’s very short but not hard to do but I enjoyed my time

Too short.  Abrupt ending.

What an absolutely terrifying read it took a very ancient, somewhat primal, kind of fear that people have naturally of the ocean and the mystery of its death, and took it to a whole different literary level. In such a short story. I loved the way it ended. I love the open ending and I kind of wish the novel had a sequel because I would love to know what happens next. Lol but I will just have to settle for more of this authors. Amazing work instead.
