This book is so, so slow. Just when it was getting somewhere interesting, it ended.

I marked this as "sexual content" only because of a brief scene written like purple-prose erotica. It's more heavily-implied than anything, and it's nothing R-rated, but I happened to read this book when I was 10 (because it had dragons in it and I was a precocious reader) and even that mild scene haunted me.
