I could not put this book down! This interracial, workplace romance is about two people who let the secrets from their past affect how they lived their lives. No matter how much these two were against falling in love, it was inevitable. Simon and Addie had so much passion, chemistry, angst, and they were relatable. I loved their connection and their journey to finding love with each other after overcoming many obstacles. This incredible love story makes me believe that true love exists out there.

Oh my gosh… this book was absolutely amazing!!! “Then Came You” is about two people who didn’t want to fall in love with anyone; however, when they meet each other, it’s inevitable. Simon and Addie’s relationship was definitely angsty, but it was also passionate and most importantly, real. They both made mistakes, but they also found their way back to each other, and I think that’s beautiful. I read this book in one sitting because I was so hooked on these characters… Dylan Allen is a new-to-me author, but I will be checking out her other work now that I’ve read “Then Came You!”

This book already started in my good graces because the main female character has the same name as my sister! So when I found myself reading I noticed that I was enthralled with the dynamics of these two characters and their families. I could relate to the chaos in Simon’s family and the animosity in Addies. What really stole the plot for me was sweet Henry and his precious attitude! I loved the epilogue where everything came full circle and everyone got their happy ending! I LOVE this book!!!!

This is my first book read by this author. She swayed me by her characters and her addictive story/characters. I loved getting lost in her writing while the rest of the world dissappeared. Must read

Absolutely phenomenal and beautifully written. Dylan Allen has such a way with words and always brings to life a beautiful story. Her characters have a depth to them that makes them seem so real. Wonderfully done and a really great read.

Addie and Simon's story is very emotional and multicultural; there are many secrets, lies, and romance. They have a sizzling chemistry, they can't seem to be able to stay away from each other. They face a lot of obstacles and find themselves questioning everything. It's a story that hooked me from the start, and it was intense and real. You have to read it.

Okay! I just had a wonderful 3 days of escapism!
Anyone with a boisterous toddler will understand how much I need to escape the reality of constant mummy mode every now and then.
This book did it for me.
I can’t even believe this is a debut novel because of how good it is.
Well developed characters, a solid plot and joyful (not overdone to appear witty) dialogue.
It follows a story of Addie, a lawyer whose father is a runaway criminal. She’s embarrassed and angry about her past and moves to London to escape it all.
She meets Simon who is also dealing with family issues and a past he, too, wishes to forget.
The chemistry between them sizzles. And can I say it is so HOT that I got burnt reading their sexual trysts
