THE WEDDING! AHH! I adore Warner and this whole book was just so sweet. The WORST is when everyone basically shits on Warner like wtf. Praise Mafi for writing the wedding tho. Us peons can only dream to find a Warner.

As much as I love Warnette, the first half of the book dragged and I was kind of bored. Don't get me wrong, I love Aaron, but his negative mindset is difficult to read about. I also still don't understand Aaron's need to be so rude to everyone, but then again the whole first half was just everyone shitting on him. Again, I would've loved to see the dynamics of other characters like Brendan + Winston, Nazeera + Kenji and Adam + Alia. The wedding was sweet, although I wouldn't have minded seeing more of them living together in their new house with DOG, with Kenji as the neighbour of course. I love how we saw the growth of the friendship between Aaron and Kenji with a very beautiful scene at the end.

Reads like an epilogue for the final book but had multiple open door scenes. If you are big fans of the main characters you might enjoy it, felt unnecessary for me.

Taylor swift songs: “lover”

I would highly recommend reading this novella! It really adds a lot to the story, as it is told from Warner’s POV before their wedding. I feel like this was a great ending to the series (I think it is the last one) but the ending to the story was left in a way that it could potentially continue. I would love to see how these characters continue on after defeating the reestablishment. I really hope there are more books, but this one was great. It was so romantic, and made me love Warner even more. And the character arcs in this are great!! I love seeing the development of Kenji and Warner’s friendship. All around, I really liked this.

This one is the spiciest of all of them. I have to say I liked it better when it wasn’t as spicy as focusing more on the emotional intimacy. I’d say it’s about a 2/5🌶️ still not too graphic but really heavily inferring what is happening. Yep, I think about as spicy as Emily Henry now. It’s way more than the other books. Side note: how do they not get pregnant? Bc I’m fairly sure the rebel group doesn’t have access to birth control.

If I have one complaint it's that there wasn't more. I love Juliette and Warner so much they are so cute and I'm glad we finally just get to see them truly happy without a bunch of problems intervening. Also I love the small progression in Warner's and Kenji's friendship.

Thoughts I had while reading Believe Me (minor spoilers ahead):
1. Ooff omg Warner is definitely an introvert, an anxious one at that. Someone get him therapy
2. It's actually very relatable how Mafi wrote about his sensory overload when he's surrounded by lights and people and too much noise. Idk what it says about me relating to a guy who picks up a gun at the slightest hint of danger, but his quiet thrumming anxiety always in the background was comforting to see. Him snapping at people was in no way justified but it made sense because I do it in times of sky-rocketing anxiety too. I appreciate it.
3. Kenji, broooooooo, I missed you so much!!!! I love you loads. You're the star! You're the saving grace! You're an amazing friend and boyfriend and leader and I wish every person meets a guy like you
