Shaun Tan is always a treat to eyes to read. Absolutely loved this book. Even though its picture book you still would like to take it in slowly instead of finishing it at one go. Each and every frame are filled with subtle details. A beautiful journey told without words.

This book is so beautiful and I think it should be required reading for all humans.

I never get sick of paging through this book and looking at all of the illustrations. Each picture portrays so much, and this wordlss book is emotionally captivating.

A beautifully surreal take on an immigrant story told solely through the art.

Temática actual.
Êxodo animado pelo sonho americano em tom surreal, sempre revestido de uma ternura sabiamente doseada.

Deveria surgir acompanhado de um aviso «este livro poderá causar dores no zigomático».

entirely graphic story about a man who leaves his family behind to emigrate, looking for a better life for them all. Drawn in shades of brown, very beautiful.
