And the plot continues to thicken! I'll admit, this series is becoming a lot less predictable with every book I read. It does get a little too drawn out at times, but it definitely keeps my interest engaged and my curiosity hooked. I hope the next book or two starts answering some of the (many, many, so many) questions I have!

Another delightful installment in this series. I think it’s just a matter of personal preference, but I found myself less compelled by the central thread of the story (i.e. Bertha the ostrich) than the prior two volumes, hence the 4 stars. The subtle way the Incorrigibles’ English improves over the course of even just the first three books is worth noting, however—a masterful use of dialogue on the part of Ms. Wood.

Another wonderful part in this series. I loved it, the Ostrich, the wolves, the seance, our governess miss Lumley, the children. :)
Can't wait until next year, when I will get the paperback of the next part in the series.

This series continues to please. Still no real answers, but somehow (amazingly!) that's okay. Next book please?

I just adore these books. They remind me a lot of Wodehouse but for children--though I personally think adults are going to be the ones who enjoy them the most. And the narrator is outstanding--I absolutely recommend listening to them all!
