My mom sent me this -- she'd gotten an autographed copy at a mystery book story event. She thought I'd like it because the main character is a librarian and it was set in the Pacific NW. While I enjoyed some of the elements of the book (the main character, her crazy arty best friend, the library setting and details), I was not impressed by the writing (or the editing!) -- there were too many awkward transitions and obvious plot points for me to feel that this is a writer I will take up. However, it was a decent "page turner" to read while sick in bed -- but there are other writers that I could pick up that also fit that bill who write better.
