Another great read by H.B. Moore. I'm not a real big fan of historical fiction, at least I didn't think I was, but it's so interesting. I love how it's told in current day and also in ancient Egypt so you get both sides of the story. Plenty of action and edgy moments.

I received this book courtesy of Netgalley in exchange for my honest review.

Liked this second book in the Omar Zagouri series. This is sort of a cross between the Da Vinci code and Indiana Jones. In this book, Omar must thwart an attempt to blackmail the world's leading religions after a scroll is found that disputes Moses and the 10 commandments. The fictional account of an ambitious real female pharaoh is told side by side with two modern stories. It's full of action and romance.
Spoiler My only criticism is that the blackmail plot sort of fizzled at the end. It was never really explained why everyone was okay with the scroll at the end when Ellis thought he could blackmail the world religions in the first place. It seemed like there were only two real "commandments" that were contained in the scroll.
Despite my criticisms, I like this series and will definitely read the next book.
