didnt intially like a certain part. after discussing the book with the book club, i came away with a whole new perspective. such an interesting look at misogyny in everyday life. really liked it on reflection

I enjoyed this book quite a bit! It moved quickly but did a great job of showing the life events that led to Jiyoung "losing it". It showed how women are thought of in Korea and so many places around the world.

Hacía mucho que no devoraba un libro con tantas ganas. El primer capítulo es un poco extraño pero ya a partir del segundo no puedes parar de leer. Hay partes en las que, lógicamente, no te puedes identificar con la protagonista porque te habla de situaciones muy concretas de la vida de una mujer surcoreana (no me extraña que haya supuesto todo un "terremoto" dentro de país). Pero, también, hay otras en las que sientes todo lo que está pasando porque lo has vivido o conoces a alguien que lo haya vivido. Una lectura muy recomendable porque, sin llegar a ser excesivamente dura, te hace reflexionar sobre todo porque estamos hablando de la "vida" de una mujer nacida en 1982 (como bien dice el título) y no hace 100 años o más.

легка книга, не зрозуміла початок одразу, але під кінець до мене дійшло чому саме так. життєва для всіх жінок, тому що ситуації описані там рано чи пізно стаються з кожною. сподобалася вкинута статистика між словами, гарно ілюструє описані речі
