Great emphasis on storing up treasures in Heaven rather than on earth. I’m thinking about posting the 6 principles to serve as a daily reminder. Everyone with a job or kids should read this book. Reinforced my belief the more money you make the more people you can help.

A slim and brief book that lays out some key concepts when thinking about and making decisions in regards to how you use your money. Straightforward and direct, but not earth shattering immaterial. List of 31 questions for one to ponder with more specificity at the end. A good intro for those searching for a biblical perspective on money/time/talents and other treasures and how to wisely invest all of them.

Great book about radical giving with some great question to consider about how we use our time, talents, and resources. A great challenge to think through even if I had heard many of the concepts taught before.
See book notes for more.

Invaluable 'handbook' on Biblical principles of giving. Only downside is that the book's written by Alcorn...would love to see a book like this written from a non-uber-wealthy-megachurch-pastor.

Your heart follows where your money goes. Don’t be rich to yourself and poor to others. Great little nuggets in here. Timely read for me as I was maybe getting caught up in the rat race a little too much.

My only complaint is that I can't give it more stars.

We don't give to get "treasures in heaven". We give out of a grateful heart. Too many things in this book rubbed me the wrong way.
