The majority of this volume delivers a strong continuation of this series. The final two issues--out of continuity with the rest of the story--are fine, but don't reach quite the same level of art or storytelling.

I liked this book better than volume one, but it's still not what I was hoping for out of the series. I'll read volume 3, and then I'll decide if I want to keep going or quit the series.
Things I liked:
Things I liked:
- The two different heists- I like group/ team heists, which was very Oceans 11
- The murder mystery
Things I didn't like
- the "romance"
- the weird zombie things?
- the fatphobia

The series continues. I really like the way Jones portrays Selina and I hope to read much more.
The main baddie is SO cool!

I was disappointed that more of this volume wasn’t illustrated by Jones. The guest artists were fine, but Jones’ work is something else.
The story was fine, but I didn’t care for it, and honestly, it’s completely forgettable. I read this a little less than a week ago and I’ve forgotten a lot of the details. Something about a relic that requires blood sacrifice and the villain being very one-dimensionally villain-y.
I also didn’t care at all for the annual issue’s story of Catwoman taking in a bunch of young women and teaching them to steal. It wasn’t anything special at all.
This series has been disappointing as a whole, if I’m being honest. I had high hopes as I love Jones’ artwork and I love that a female writer is taking on Catwoman, but it’s been very meandering so far. I don’t think it helps that this is sort of a spin-off to Tom King’s Batman which I’ve been loving, as I keep unconsciously comparing it to that.
I don’t know if this series is still on-going (I think it is? It left things off on quite the cliffhanger), but I’ll probably only give it one more volume to win me over.
