I don’t know how to feel about this one. I think I liked the story and wanted the characters to end up together but also he is the worst kind of person. I guess that is the point but she literally did not do one thing wrong to him the whole time and he was a liar and manipulator who couldn’t admit his feelings even to himself.
That being said, I will be continuing the series because I want to see Declan eat his words and be humbled by Iris because I know that they are supposed to end up together.
Also, I love the representation of differently ambled people in this book. Anni is the best character and you can’t tell me otherwise,

So, I saw a review that said that this is a good book for you if you are a Disney adult and I have to agree. Rowan was pretty much a jerk in the beginning. You were able to see that he preferred to shove his emotions down and ignore them from the beginning of the book. Zahra made him feel all sorts of things and see all sorts of things that he wasn't ready for. We learned that Rowan learned to hide his feelings and do things to gain acceptance and approval from his father. I thought it nice that he listened to Zahra about the issues that the general employees had but also went out and talked to them himself. I liked Rowan's presentation. I think it was just the right sort of grovel for Zahra. I liked how Rowan and Zahra were together but I saw how the closer they got Rowan got more frightened of that closeness. This was a good read, but I wasn't blown away.
