Solid 4.5 stars. The Art by Maca Gil is awesome. the colors are vibrant. The story line was slightly tropey but not in a bad way. It follows two girls (i guess middle school) who live on opposite sides of the tracks both figuratively and literally (in Gotham). The hero-villain dynamic was really well played and there a fun switch to the story that a believe all kids will enjoy. Plus, Batman. (enough said)

Very cute middle-grade graphic novel. For fans of Strong Female Protagonist (superhero ethics for the young reader) and Freaky Friday (bodyswap!).

Yes, body swapping has been done before, and yes the characters always learn something about themselves, and the person they swapped with.

But, trust me, this one works, and is fun, and cute, and clever.

Another one of DCs series of middle-grade fiction, set in the world of DC characters, but not overwhelmed by them. For example, in this one, Bruce Wayne makes an appearance, but it isn't critical to the outcome of the story.

Both the good guy and the bad guy (or gal in this case) are likable, and relatable.

Check it out. It is a lot of un.

* I got this book for review from the publisher*

I really loved the art style in this read. I loved how this novel took the gothem city myth in such a fun way. I also really liked how this book focused on both girls story and loved how the book was structured really comparing and contrasting the girls lives. I always like books/stories where characters have to talk a walk in each others shoes. I also really enjoyed the side characters in this story and really liked how this book focused on friendship and young heroes and the drama they face. I also really hope we get more books in this series in the future.
