Sometimes you get just the right book when you need it most.

I absolutely love and adore this story. It was good from the get-go and I couldn't be happier with how it went and how it finished. And the fact that the MC has a bestie named Z (??) Who also cooks? Masterful. May get the hard copy.

I wish it was dual POV. Sutton and Tuesday were cute and their banter was pretty great but moving fast.

3 - This was strange. I can understand the "annoy for attention" / "she's a jerk and hot" setup, but somehow it feels not complete.

There is a very important history for Tuesday, which is just teased, but never expanded on. Sutton never discusses her growing feelings with anyone and just flips from "I don't like you" to "Let's make out". Potential problems about Tuesday being her Landlord and their possible relationship being a threat to their professional lifes is ignored, even after Tuesday states, that she's been burned by mixing personal and professional life.

I want there to be extra chapters for both characters to learn about each other, to navigate potential problems and to appreciate hidden features of each other. The books left me feeling incomplete.

This was okay. I loved the beginning, but the end was stupid.

Very cute, predictable but sweet. Two decent spice scenes. Uses a lot of “said” which was annoying but good. Loved the nonbinary friend and how this author represented them!! ♥️

DNF. This book doesn't spark joy. A lot of "diversity" that feels forced.
I didn't like the inclusion of disabled people in such a throwaway comment, if you want to include us, add depth, give us more than a sentence, we are not props to make you look like a good open minded person, we are not charity cases you should be applauded for including if if you don't give any substance. I mean, the book doesn't even mention if there is a lift in the building...

I was reading this book based on an enemy to lovers trope book list & I mean, that's not what that book is. It's random white girl deriving her income from culturally appropriating yoga who thinks rich girl of color with blue eyes is attractive, even if she is very rude.

I can't discern a single thing to tell me anything about the leads. They eat food & have pets? That's about it. I went about a third of the way through, but nowadays I allow myself to leave books unfinished, so I'm going to read something else now!
