Beautiful story. I enjoyed this one slightly more than the first. This is shaping up to be a great little series of books.

Sooooo ummm I liked this book less than I thought I would. Not that it was bad, it wasn't it. I was just expecting to love this book as much as I loved the first book in this series, and I sort of didn't. The big thing for me was that I never fell in love with the characters, Noah and Tommy were fine they just weren't amazing like Simon and Luke from [b:Morning Report|9856022|Morning Report|Sue Brown|http://photo.goodreads.com/books/1291783826s/9856022.jpg|14747170].

So Tommy is a hand at the Lost Cow Ranch, he has had a crush on his boss Luke forever, but now he has his eyes on a local pastor Noah, who has been running a church all about love and acceptance. Noah is openly gay and also clearly interested in Tommy. Even though Tommy is certain that he is gay, his parents are not exactly progressive people, so he cannot bring himself to come out to them.

Eventually Noah makes his feelings clear but asks that Tommy talk to his parents since he won't hide who they are to each other. Tommy does what he has to and they being their relationshiup.

Noah and Tommy were loving and everything I just didn't get so invested in them, there were also really confusing tangents that just didn't make sense to me.
Spoiler Like why was Tommy's crush on Luke such a big deal if Tommy was totally in Love with Noah, and what was that whole thing about a possible orgy, I mean I'm not a prude but the idea of a pastor wanting to get it on with three other dudes especially when they all live in Central Texas gossip central, well I don't know that was weird...Not that it happened, which was weirder, because why bring it up?
.

Overall this book was mostly good, but not awesome like the first one.
