Well that was interesting. I'm not entirely sure how I feel about this one. On the one hand, I really liked the couple and I enjoy the author's writing style. The story was hilarious and sexy.

However, there was a ton of lying. Basically constant. To each other, to their friends and family. Then of course the requisite angst over whether they can actually be together. Also, not sure how I feel about the "reformed prostitute" aspect. It was a fair bit of a turnoff for me - then again, I knew that going in, so it's really my own fault.

I'm definitely going to read Harry's book when it comes out!

I loved this book! This was funny, sexy, sweet, and had an epic romance all in one. Quinn is an escort and he is damn good at his job. He knows how to make women feel special and he loves women - all women. He knows how to appreciate and pleasure them. Mia is Quinn's best friends little sister. He only met her once and doesn't remember her much but Mia remembers him - he was the first man to make her feel special. She was overweight and self-conscience but Quinn made her feel beautiful. Years later, Mia has changed her body but is still shy about men so she decides to hire an escort. She chooses Quinn because she remembers how he made her feel and with how often her brother talks about him, she knows he's a good guy. Quinn has no idea the funny woman who set a date with him, is his best friends little sister. They strike up a friendship through text and email before meeting and their conversations were hilarious. I loved the chemistry between these two! I highly recommend this - especially if you love a best friends sister type romance!

I LOVED IT !

Funny and sexy read. I loved Mia, she's exactly the kind of characters I like to read about: Funny, sassy, shy (but not whiny) and strong.

Still two things bothered me :
- Reading about the "dates" between Quinn and his clients
- Addison and Nick. I found that part unnecessary and the chapter with Addison's POV: so random.

Can't wait to read about Harry and Grace !

This was a funny, sexy story.

Mia writes to Matt, an escort that she knows to be her brother's best friend using a false name, asking him to help her lose her virginity. They start a friendship and he helps her with her task. Then he finds out she's his best friend's brother.

Oh, Mia. Sassy, sweet, naive, Mia. I really liked her character. Mia is a recent college graduate and has moved back to her hometown to pursue her dream job. Her other dream job? Getting laid; and she knows just the man for the job. The problem is, it's her brothers best friend and sex is what he does for a living.

Mia knew all along that she just wanted one night with Matt Quinn. After building a relationship before actually meeting him, she knew she picked the right man for the task but her nerves sometimes get the better of her when awkward situations arise.

Matt Quinn is basically the best at what he does as a male escort. He's got his regulars and women that request him by name. He's not surprised that after some time of getting to know Mia via email, she makes her appointment with him. He's never taken a virginity before and he's nervous about it too.

About last night...Matt and Mia meet up unknowingly the next day and their worlds are rocked when Mia's brother finds out what went down (or who but that's just semantics).

I really enjoyed this book. Yes, Mia is a virgin, yes, she's 27, yes, shes SUPER inexperienced, but I enjoyed her journey. Matt was an excellent teacher and had the patience to get to know Mia before everything even happened. I've always loved Belle Aurora's writing and About Last Night is no different. Matt and Mia had chemistry and even though I'm not familiar with the male escort biz, their characters were definitely relateable and I felt the story flowed really easily. Quick and funny read with some great steamy scenes along the way.

My my Belle did it once again I love her books they're funny, sexy and sassy, if I want some humor mixed with love and great writing I just have to grab one of her books. Loved the characters and don't get me wrong but through the book I was dying to know Har story, so that little expert at the end killed me seriously.
