6/10, this book rambles too much sometimes and gets distracted from the main plot.

What a charming, well written story.

This is a gem of a book that I loved listening to. Is there going to be a follow on?

It was narrated perfectly and I really enjoyed all of the characters and the beginning of the friendship between Joy and Benny.

I am interested in environmental issues and I think this raises the subject perfectly and pitches it at the right level for the intended audience.

I would definitely recommend this title.

Thank you to NetGalley and the author for gifting me this arc in exchange for an honest, unbiased review.

This is outstanding! Superbly written it tells the tale of Joy who can find a silver lining everywhere. They way the author has Joy describing things is just fabulous - so clever. One of those books that you need to immediately read again.

This cute little book covers a range of topics, from moving to a new country to local activism. It would make a great gift for a child in your life who's starting to take an interest in saving the trees, or other small-scale acts to benefit the world around them.
