I can see why it's an important and objectively good book but my feelings are complicated and I did not have a good time reading it. (which is the point, I get it.)

thought about giving it 1 star but i think i didn’t enjoy it simply cause im dumb and didn’t understand half of it

To sum up my feelings on Lolita I can simply say that I love the author but I didn’t enjoy the book. It’s a very well written story, but it is still not a pleasant one. It was brilliant, but it felt like some sort of very poetical torture.
