I really liked this book! I really appreciated how drawn out and through the development of Payne and Beaus relationship was. I like that they have a long list of quirks but none that are dealbreakers and communicate well. I think my main issue is that the book was good but kinda flat towards the last half. The first half was all tension and stolen glances but, once you get into the actual relationship portion the plot kinda falls off and stays pretty stagnant.

Not the kind of thing I normally read. The characters and the unrequited crush with a slow burn were…sweet. Despite my initial cynicism I found myself smiling and sighing alongside Beau. The DMC text group made me laugh. Lots of chemistry between the MCs and a fair amount of spice. And yet, it felt so…wholesome.

One of the things I really liked about this book was that Payne accepted Beau the way he was. He never tried to change Beau and instead accomodated to his, probably neurodivergent (ADHD), traits. Both men never let the other feel like a burden

This was hot and spicy, but also sweet and angsty. I loved the little brother's friend is in love with the older brother troupe. Well written, and just the right amount of everything. Plus no 3rd act break up! All around a great read.
