"When I write, it's everything that we don't know we can be that is written out of me, without exclusions, without stipulation, and everything we will be calls us to the unflagging, intoxicating, unappeasable search for love. In one another we will never be lacking."

i initially had my doubts a few pages into this, this needs to be read in full. it's not fully in line with my own thoughts and ideals but it's enjoyable and worthwile to figure out where they intersect, where this has aged well and where it's lacking. go write!

read for class—
we were studying french feminism literary critique and so we started by reading this. i really enjoyed the writing style. very flowery and lots of metaphors. just how i like my books/essays.
