This is both very original and really straight forward. A little bit more of a ‘why’ and ‘how’ done it than a ‘whodunnit’. Loved learning about Māori culture and a very interesting context for me to be reading with the upcoming referendum here in Australia. Would recommend, we had a great discussion.

I hope there will be a sequel.  Better the Blood introduces us to Maori perspective in a tense cat and mouse thriller.
