I keep forgetting how much I hate naoka.
while I still enjoyed this volume, it's probably my least favourite so far, partly because that final scene felt so sudden and like it came out of nowhere. I get it, shoya has been making a conscious effort to change and make amends for what he did in sixth grade (and his internal conflict is one of my favourite parts of this manga so far, even though I'll never forgive him for how he treated shoko), but is it enough to warrant what happens in that final scene? I don't think so, but maybe I'm just nitpicking.
