3.5, really. Lots of interesting bits, but a little repetitive and not as clear as it could be in parts.

The writing is nice and funny at times. I enjoyed reading it. There were interestin insights about the book which I enjoyed knowing. It is written in somple words that I think is easy to understand for non-biology people too. But there were repeations so many times, as there are usually in a scientific writing. The strong view of the author against the creationists, makes it unsuitable for people who are religious.

Very nerdy popular fiction overview of what genetic research tells us, with a sprinkle of the history of learning about genetics and evolution. More than anything else, it drives home the point that race is one million percent made up.
