Het derde boek in de Fred the Vampire Accountant Serie is het eerste boek dat niet opgedeeld is in een boel kortverhalen. Hierdoor kan het boek zich op zijn gemak ontplooien in de plaats van dat alles aan een snel tempo voorbij moet komen. Er is nog altijd een heleboel actie aanwezig, maar de personages voelen veel menselijker aan.

Fred's adventures continue with his friends/family. The series is a good example of how we can choose our friends and they may well become our family.
