O. My. Gosh. Mary does it again. Forbidden Fate continues right where Stolen Soulmate left off, diving right off from the even cliff hanger. This book is gut wrenching, emotional, you can feel what the characters feel, you’ll cry with them, Mary draws you in so amazingly with her writing and with this storyline. Gray and Story’s journey is just so harrowing and heartbreaking and ugh, it gives you all the feels. Well done Mary!! Forbidden Fate deserves 10 Stars!

Reading the reviews… wow a lot of people hated this. I guess I can see where it’s coming from but at the same time I don’t know how it’s all too surprising? The first book sets up two very flawed characters who struggle with their inner thoughts and miscommunication. This book it’s heighten considering their situations with Lottie/West. I don’t think either character was ooc, they were just struggling to adapt to new situations and accepting (or not accepting) their feelings. Hey, if you didn’t like it, you didn’t like it. I can completely understand where some actions felt too much or personally you weren’t a fan. At least for me I like drama and if you read any of my reviews/the books I’ve read you probably do too lol. But it just blew my mind to see such negative reviews at the top. Is this a perfect book? No. But if you want something that engaging and might make you want to scream a hundred times this is for you.

I also just want to say something about Story because I saw a lot of hate for her in reviews. Again, if you don’t like her fine. In my personal opinion she’s just so broken. She’s been sheltered in a way her whole life and the environment she was thrown into as a teenager and continues to live in is brutal. Even when Grayson spends this book trying to gain her trust, it’s not like she can forget how much she was lied too, you know? And she’s been manipulated so many times because at the end of the day she’s trying to survive and yet she still tries to see the best in people. She’s a great FMC to me even with the choices she makes in this book. If anything it gave her so much depth because made mistakes, she acted in anger, in resentment, in fear. I just feel so strongly for her.

Anyway onto book 3 of storygrayson!

It has taken me a long, long, long time to actually come up with the proper words to explain what I went through with this story.

First, wtf I thought this was the conclusion, that ending really took me by surprised.

My anxiety and blood pressure were through the roof the entire time I was reading this story. Heck, it’s been weeks now and just thinking about this books makes me hyperventilate.

I need the conclusion! This cannot keep ending like this, my heart cannot take this.

Mary definitely holds up her reputation as The Reader of hearts!

Without a doubt this is a MUST Read!

This continuation of Stolen Soulmate for Gray and Story breaks you and puts you back together repetitively. It’s so emotionally driven that Mary makes it feel like you’re there in Crowne Point feeling what these characters are feeling!
You will definitely feel every emotion while reading Forbidden Fate.
This is the first book that I was equally excited and nervous for!

You definitely have to read Stolen Soulmate before reading this one. You can start the series with Heartless Hero, which follows Abigail and Theo.

Did you liked puppets shows when you were kids?
I did and I feel like Grey is the Puppets Master in every possible way in this book.
That’s the only thing I’m going to say about this book.
Mind blowing puppets story!
