I bought this one, also. What was I thinking? I guess I was thinking I’d find this as fascinating as I did on the beginning of my romance journey. I originally rated this 5⭐️’s.
I kinda see why I liked this series, but the 2 I’ve reread so far have been: girl in trouble, alpha helps her by overwhelming her with love bombs, girl is threatened by other man, hero saves the day, girl swoons, gets jealous of other girl, hero love bombs until she forgives him.
Well, I can’t justify the rating, so I’m lowering it by a bit.
Recommended for people who want to escape into a billionaire fantasy, but don’t want to think too much.

I like how it was love at first sight for Grady. He realized in an instant that Emily was the one for him. I had actually started reading book one in this series when I realized this novella came before it. It was a fast little read that I'm glad I was able to sneak in.

A lovely holiday novella. I just wish it had been a full length novel becsauw I liked the characters so much and would have loved for them to be a bit more fleshed out.

Grady is a gruff, loner genious billionaire. He's very anti-social until he meets Emily. Emily is a warm, glasses-wearing "plain" woman. She's very down to earth and LOVES Christmas. Grady has had horrible Christmas experiences and Emily helps him see the good in Christmas.
