Tired of this series. Tired of how she thinks she is all that. Tired of the destruction of characters I like. Only thing I still like is the unpredictability of where it will go next.

Not the end of the series

If you like the first four books you will like this one. The last book had the vampire recovering from injury, this one Kandy is recovering from an injury. More chocolate then cupcakes.

Jade finally gets laid. It is at the very end of the book but it does happen.

This book continues nicely along with the rest of the series. Enjoyable. :)

More Warner and Jade action. I did miss Kandy and would like to see more Desmond (that's his name, right? I am not a huge fan of the male names in this series!). Really enjoying the little big bad! She could be in it a little bit more! As could Blackwell. :D

I do enjoy this series and I love that they’re quick reads, but I definitely missed Kandy in this one.

Love this book

This series just keeps getting better. The characters continue to develop not always as I expect. On to the next book for me.

A book that’s certainly way better than its predecessor. It got me hooked until the very end of it, and while the end lacked explanation and depth, there are still many things left unanswered which is nice. It surprises me that a series like this has been going through so many books. I feel like 5-going-to-6 are way too many, as I’m afraid if you extend this series it will just decline within time because there aren’t really many more ways you can pull this story through. However, we will never know what truly comes out of this author’s mind, so I’ll have to wait and see what comes next. Still, I really do hope this series ends with the search of the last instrument of assassination. There aren’t really many more enemies you can pull out that will make the story interesting at this point; enlarging it would most likely be a downhill, because like I said, this series is already a couple of books too long.
