In case you haven’t heard the latest in our little collection of Journey to The Force Awakens stories is The Perfect Weapon by Delilah Dawson. It stars the lovely bounty hunter Bazine Netal as we follow her adventures on a mysterious new mission.

The story is a little bit of a mystery mission with some twists and turns but I enjoyed it quite a bit. At some points it moved so fast that I actually had to go back, thinking that I missed something only to find that the story had just taken a leap.

As far as any TFA clues or easter eggs, I didn’t quite find them. To me, this just seems like a seedy mystery adventure with a background character we’ll be able to point to in about 10 days.

Totally enjoyable, moves fast, lots of mystery, and Bazine is a very interesting character!

A fun little short story that adds more depth into the greater Star Wars universe, which is always fun!

3.5 Stars. First Star Wars Story that I completed. Pretty good story. I liked the worldbuilding and action. Awesome main character. Wished for a longer story and more character development but overall good. Will be reading more of the series.

This was enjoyable. I love learning about minor characters and world building, but I didn't really learn anything at all about the major story arcs going on within the new canon.

Not really my cup of tea, but read for "Star Wars Day."

Pretty solid short story, though if I'm being honest I was mainly reading it just for the canon information, not out of enjoyment.

Now I'm not saying that there was anything wrong with it. The writing was solid. The character was interesting. I'm just being honest in my motivations to read this story. It didn't really provide me with any valuable information and It could probably have been skipped over.

A solid 3, maybe 3.5 because of subject matter.

Short, but sweet. So glad we're getting badass ladies in the new canon after our favorites were expunged into "Legends."

I'm going to be quick and to the point with this one.

I don't really like short stories. Actually, I usually hate 3 out of every 5 I attempt, so I just don't attempt them much anymore.

This is a short story. A fantastic one, with a deep, likable bad behaving female lead. I LOVED it. Go buy it.
