I was very surprised with how easy this was to read. It was interesting to hear the stories and personalities of the different wolf packs, and how each wolf managed to survive the reintroduction and the ever-changing ecosystem of Yellowstone throughout the years.

Interesting topic but the writing didn't do it for me

I really enjoyed this account of the reintroduction of wolves to Yellowstone. The author makes you feel like you are there observing alongside him, and it's amazing to see the many impacts of the wolves in Yellowstone. A really interesting read!

A powerful insight into the wolves of Yellowstone and their reintroduction, it made me think about the moral consciousness of Americans and how the stereotypical views of their natural world transform ecosystems for the worse...yet sometimes for the better as well.

Important for a scientific perspective of the wolf program at Yellowstone, but the narrative structure was a bit hokey, all without really making a critical stand about the absolute vulnerability of this program.
