Pretty angsty. I like how the author write in multiple POVs. It's pretty hot & heavy and as the spoilers warn it's a bully romance. NOT for the faint of heart but I was very interested in the characters and where this series will go. Peak content for those who love a little BL.

This is story I devoured in one setting. I waited for this story as the first book keep me in suspense of how the cliffhanger ended. This is book 2 and their is spice and darker. These kids have many darker visions that cause more trauma. This is a heartbreaking read and will have you in tears. Can’t wait for the next book.

It has been a few months since book one (Flawed Hearts) was released, so I THOUGHT that the pieces were put back together, but boy was I wrong. This book dove straight through my heart and tore me open even more. Do I regret coming back for more... absolutely not. Will I continue to read the rest of the series... without a doubt!
Celeste Night has a way of writing stories that fully engulf the reader and when you come up for air, you're left feeling raw and exposed but thankful for the experience.
The Forsaken Series thus far has been a heart breaking, gut wrenching ride, and yet I still crave to be in their world. Every plot point I thought I had figured out was the farthest from the truth and I love that because it kept me guessing. What started out as a very dark bully romance has stretched far beyond that limit and tackles some exceptionally heavy topics in a tragically beautiful way.
I was blown away with this one. Phenomenal job.

This is book two of the forsaken series and it is absolutely phenomenal.
I thought book one was good but book two has you feeling every emotion that the characters do. I am looking at you chapter 27.
This book will have you on the edge of your seat the entire time, when you think you know what is going to happen Celeste does the complete opposite and it is truly amazing. You will absolutely have a love hate relationship with one of the MMCs by the end, it’s still to be decided if he’s redeemable.
This is hands down one of my top series of the year
I can’t wait for book 3.

This is the second book in the Forsaken series, and I thought Ivy had been put through the wringer in the first book, but then she goes through even more in this one. Not to mention the secrets revealed, her truths not being believed by Cam and trying to do her best to protect others. It was a rollercoaster of emotions and heartbreak and another cliffhanger that has me wondering what else Ivy and her men have to go through to get their HEA. Please check your TW as there are some very heavy themes in this book.

I genuinely did not think that anything would top my love for Flawed Hearts, but somehow Celeste managed to knock me on my ass all over again with Foolish Hearts. The connection that I feel with these characters is unreal. I feel as if Ivy is my best friend and I need to wrap her up and protect her from all of the douchebags in her life. I was literally up crying at 2am because this book and the shit the characters went through just ripped my heart out. I had to keep reminding myself that at the beginning of both books we’re told there’s a HEA for Ivy but fucks SAKE. And the next book doesn’t come out until 2024? Looks like I’ll have a couple of rereads of both.

Check the TW and don’t take them lightly. Book 2 has equal parts depraved darkness and delicious depravity. The plot is amazing, and while at sometimes it’s a struggle to get through the horrors Ivy is put through, it’s worth the heartache. Oh and the spice between her and her men is top notch

I couldn't give this anything less than 5 stars as it completely and utterly engaged me from the start. This has suspense, spice and is a total emotional rollercoaster. Oh Ivy; her journey in this book just crushed me.  Trigger warnings; you will need to check them as the first section of this is very dark and on page and I don't say that lightly.  It is brutal - when you think it can't get worse; it does.

MMC wise, Niko is still the sweetest and Cam continues to be bottom of the pile for me; I am looking forward to his grovelling as he comes to terms with how wrong he is. I have never been more frustrated with someone being stubborn! Trey however, has completely won me over from his previous apathetic stance in book one and shows the most growth in my opinion; he is the absolute star of the show for me in this book (although Frankie is still the MVP). Caleb still has my heart as he is truly stuck in the middle of this and every time his yellow car is mentioned I get the fear for him!

I've already gone back for a re-read as I have so many theories rattling about and there were genuine twists in this that I didn't see coming.  I love a revenge plot and am glad at how the board is being cleared so far!

My interpretation of the star system;
3 stars - I enjoyed it; would read the author again
4 stars - I really liked it; I am invested and definitely want more from this author/series
5 stars - I loved it; I engaged with this book completely and I have added all the authors works to my TBR!

I loved this book. I didn’t think it could be better than flawed hearts but it definitely upped the bar. The characters are great. The plot is so dang good. I’m absolutely loving it! Highly recommend check TW/CW
