What can be said about this book that hasn’t already been said? It displays what it's like to fall in love as you're growing up...depicting the innocence of a blooming romance, while simultaneously trying to figure one another and life out. When life happened, lord 😭.  I actually sobbed at one point. My husband was like, “What the hell?!?!” 😄 This book is something special. Highly recommend it.  It gets me pumped to check out more of this duo’s work!

Oh my heart, this book. First loves reunited and a slow unraveling of why they spent over a decade apart. So good.

Loved the main characters. Adored the feelings stirred up. Her friend from college is awesome. His boisterous family is so great. Her dad is so so wonderful. The now and then time jumps over the entirety of the book drive the story. My only regret was
not being able to see a longer peek at their happy life together. After sooooo many chapters of angst, it just ended too fast.

A quick guide to only giving this spectacular book 4/5 ⭐️:

✅ The story was beautiful and real and written so eloquently
❌ The ending was rushed
✅ The characters were unbelievably realistic and descriptive
❌ Books that sexualize teenagers make me feel icky
✅ The favorite words thing
❌ Mace, sis, Sean was a loser???
✅ Happy ending
❌ This could have easily been closed-door and wouldn’t have lacked any quality
✅ Adult Elliott is a DOLL and too good for this darn world
❌ They were the most annoying and grossly horny teenagers I’ve ever experienced
