By the end this had me hanging on to every word. I enjoy the different POV. It definitely helps move the story. There was a chunk of the book in the mid beginning that was a bit more stagnant. I appreciated the character development throughout though I wished for a bit more at the end.

One of those books that I am on a teatertoer with. In one area Act One was so intriguing that I want to rate it a 4. In the other, the rest of the book entertaining, yes, disappointing. Guessing every twist before it happened, and it turning utterly cliche makes me want to rate it a 2. To be honest, only recommend to new fans of the genre as it is excellent genre fair at that. This is a very well written Thriller, that is both fascinating and dis-satisfying. One of those books that have an epilogue but in reality really doesn't need one.

The three main characters are unique but broken, and eventually you stop caring. After each twist that supposed to shock you, you question everything. After the end of Act One twist, I was like damn it. Because I knew it was going to be one of those. In short, I give it a 3 star rating. Very extincted however to read more from both of these authors in the future.

A sort of anti-climactic ending, but this book absolutely held my attention throughout.

My first five star of 2022. An interesting read of the complexity of morality. Dual perspectives keep the reader guessing until the end.

This book was easy to read and moved fast enough to not be boring, but ultimately ended up being fairly predictable. It felt like yet another book reminiscent of Gone Girl.

This book definitely lived up to the hype! So many unexpected twists and turns in this intriguing psychological thriller. The authors do an amazing job portraying creepy and realistic obsession while consistently building suspense. Thank you to NetGalley and St. Martin’s Press for the advanced copy of this novel. 4.5 stars

Wow where to begin! I loved this book so much! I enjoyed the main character Jess and I struggled with every step she took like I was right next to her. This definitely was a psychological thriller! The story starts with jess a woman who is a struggling make up artist In New York. She decides to participate in computer questionnaire at a university for extra money. The questionnaire consists of personal questions. After she completes she’s contacted by dr Lydia who was in charge of the the assignment and Jess is told she was chosen out of every participant to continue and she will be paid. Once she gets to know dr Lydia and the assignments Jess starts to realize there may be more to dr Lydia than the perfect woman she portrays and she may be being used by her. The assignments dr Lydia puts Jess in are picking up a man at a bar and seeing if he calls her , calling random people from a phone log. Jess starts to worry maybe she shared to much of her life and secrets with dr Lydia and what is dr Lydia’s true motive. I loved how the story goes from Jess and dr Lydia’s point of view and this defiantly had me eagerly turning each page!! I want to thank the publisher for an advanced copy for my review!!!

Despite being predictable at times, I found myself engaged and wondering what would happen next.
