Mystery has never been my cup of tea, but I enjoy a good one now and then and this was a good one! I loved the town and the characters, I just wanted to be there sipping coffee at the bistro and looking at art. It was nice to read a mystery without the violence and scariness to keep me up at night.

4.5 rounded down.

This book took some time to get into, and it's certainly not a fast paced book, but once I got into it, I could hardly put it down.

I’ve not fancied myself a reader of mysteries, but on recommendation of a respected friend, I dove into this series. So far so good! The cast is intriguing, and the inspector is winningly wise and flawed. I look forward to the next installment.
