Well, having finished these three books, I don’t think I can continue the series right now. All of it is so predictable I don’t think I’m in for much. The Reckoning was a joke, the confused feelings of the main six, also a joke, Darius’ father who seemed interesting was a bit of a let down and I’m already bored. The whole story will be what 8 books, but in reality could easily be 3-4. Way too much nonsense and repeats. Just no.

I loved this book and if it weren’t literally skipping over a couple chapters due to too much dialogue that didn’t do anything for the story, I would give this book a 5 star and it almost got one. Note the firs discover their orders in this one and that scene alone deserves a 5 star.

Wow.
I love how they managed to put a week into so many pages without dulling the story down or overly explaining scenes - it was perfect.
This series as a whole is captivating, gripping and exciting. I am fully invested in almost every character (Max and Seth don’t seem to be as deep as the others) and I can’t wait to read the next.
I can’t believe they’re both a Phoenix; I like the metaphor but I thought it would be cool if they had different orders at least, being very different people.
I love Caleb and Tory together, not quite understanding Darius’ hype just yet but his brother is one of the best side characters in this story and I hope he’s included more in the next books!!
Orion is a sweet heart, I’m 100% certain that him and Darcy are fae soul mates.
100% certain that Diego has been evil all along
