It's the first time when reading a series I'm not forcing myself through the beginning...

I'm obsessed. I want to cry I want to laugh and I want to scream. Everything in one, that's the effect after this book.

Book is a drug and I'm addicted...
I will not talk about character and plot, because I said that in the book 2 reviews.
But damn...
A little bit ;)

The power girls hold in this book is insane, I love how strong and independent they are! 💓
They fight and they win. They are not scared to provoke, but most importantly they don't run after they are in trouble!

I didn't like Diego. Like VERY much. But I will not talk about that rat, who always gets a free pass, and never stood for himself, just runs. Ups I just told 🙄.

The romance and smut are getting bigger and there is drama and Jealously (a lot of that lol).
 I'm innnnn loooooooveeeeee with that!!!!
I love Darcy and Lance like I never loved anything else!
And the tension between Darius and Tory is AGHH.
Also, I veryyy ship Geraldine with Max, because in my opinion theyreee perrrrfeecccct.

Also, I love the exams of Reckoning, they were very interesting and intense!

I'm in love with Vegas order it INSANEEEEE.
 I LOVE IT!!!!!

Also, I want to say a big thank you to Darius' father. You f**king I f7xc8fcf8fcifcigcificiffgg
What an old creepy shiny lizard is he!!!!!
 Nah I'm not angry 🙂🙂🙂🙂

And to end a book like this is cruel okay??? I need more! (It's not me it's my addiction speaking, and she is VERY angry!)

That's it...
I'm writing a sentence for the fourth time because I don't have words...

This book is everything to me and I heard that book 7 is VERY sad and I'm not okay already, are you kidding me??? It was just book three! I will be obsessed even more???

It’s been a while since I’ve tried to read a bully romance type book and I forgot all the reasons I hate them. If you’re a fan of bully romance this is probably a book for you, but I can’t stomach all the backstabbing and betrayal. All that said the story line of the twins developing their powers and learning about the death realm is captivating and remarkably well written. The world building is what shines in this book and series and is why I will keep reading.

This book isn’t a romance, it has romantic elements but there is no happy ending or central relationships.

I don’t know what Ms Peckham and Ms Valenti put in these books, but whatever it is just put it in my veins you guys. This past week I’ve been so consumed by this world that I live, breathe, and quite literally dream in Zodiac Academy. It’s a disorder and I don’t even care, I want more.

Did I make Hogwarts comparisons before? Well, the Reckoning is only like that if Voldemort and Severus Snape ran Hogwarts and instead of OWLs made the students take exams in the form of cruel hazing combined with incessant Triwizard tournament tasks that put them in all kinds of mortal danger. As if Hogwarts wasn’t dangerous enough. And oh, if Voldy and Snape were more the morally grey (okay black) antihero/villains of the sexy persuasion. It is all ridiculously insane and insanely ridiculous and I now find myself wishing I’d gotten a letter to ZA 🤭

Orion is unhinged as ever and switches between his grumpy psycho and hot competent teacher persona so quick it gives me whiplash. Every time I feel like I can get on the Darius train, he does something less than impressive to derail it but I still want to see him do better. Caleb has me confused because he can be sweet dammit, if poisonously so. Seth and Max are still by turns, annoying and sympathetic. The entire cast of characters gets more and more fleshed out.

My forbidden ship sailed (for the most part) and the other one(s) pulled me in several different directions, but I do have strong theories about two couples and a certain drawn out inevitability is driving me absolutely feral. Darcy is relatable and I’m half in love with Tory, and both are certified badasses. Also I called their Order right from the start HA! I love being right. Even when they both throw caution to the wind with some questionable decisions, they’re self aware enough to know what they’re doing and smart enough to deal with the consequences like adults. And I’m self aware enough to know I’m a little (or a lot) fucked in the head to enjoy the shit that goes on within the confines of the academy, and beyond.

In fact I wouldn’t even recommend this series for everyone because you need to be good with a certain level of moral turpitude in your fiction because it does get dark and dramatic up in this bitch. Whatever tentative camaraderie and shaky bonds are made seem to dissolve into dust every turn, and any peace is temporary at best. These Fae really are ruthless, unbound by and uncaring of the rules of mortals. But it’s also darkly funny? If you’re into that type of thing, you’re in for a wild and thrilling ride. As exhilarating as the reckoning itself is, a lot of other information is thrown at us in this one, the web of secrets gets further tangled, more violence, more cruelty, more family drama. It meanders at times, but I was still wholly immersed by the world building and breakneck hurtling towards disasters that seems to be a defining trait of these books.

oh my GOD I am so obsessed with this series right now. Firstly, can we talk about some of my fav side characters, Geraldine and Tyler? I love how Geraldine has gone from kinda weird creepy obsessed nerd fan to actual friend who kicks some ass, and Tyler ALWAYS cracks me up, I have such a soft spot for him now. As far as the romance with the Heirs, I don't know who I want Tory with more, Caleb or Darius. I love them both lol is this going to be a polyamorous ending cause I wouldn't be mad. And Darcy and Orion... UNF. Ok, I've always had bad vibes about Diego for some reason... like are we gonna find out he's lowkey been working with the Nymphs? That's how I've felt since book one. One of the girls always ends up getting drunker than they expected when hanging out with him, a major red flag. Also... beanie issues. And finally, we get some MAJOR spice !!
This ends on SUCH a crazy turn, I'm rushing off for the next book!
