While the mechanics of the story are somewhat amateurish in nature, the experience of reading the story as it unfolded was still a pleasant experience as long as you temper your expectations. The plot centers around a group of young elves invited to the capital of their kingdom as a ruse to find out which of the young elves are magic users to be recruited to the kingdom's armies . Inter-character conflicts arise as a conflict that threatens the kingdom becomes more apparent; old friendships are tested, new friendships begin to flourish, but who can exactly be trusted who blood begins to be spilled?
