Would be great for connections to scientific process, or as a text innovation for "how-to" class book for older kids

Cute book for students. Not as fun as a read aloud. Students got bored as a whole group; however, they do enjoy it more independently.

The perfect book for any young scientist or passionate experimenter! Love the diagrams of steps taken in each experiment and the laugh-out-loud moments caused by several of the experiments. A great intro book to lab safety at the beginning of the school year. Each experiment includes a question, hypothesis, "what you need" list, steps to take, results, AND delightful illustrations. I think the final experiment may be my favorite... or perhaps the bologna activity!

Ok, stop: the peaceful, rapturous expression on our girl scientist's face as she lets fly a slice of bologna in the school cafeteria would have sold me on this book even if I had not already been giggling, snorting, and cackling on almost every page prior.

Wonderful artwork combining "real" pictures with the drawn/painted art. I especially enjoyed the subtle background art!
Funny experiments gone horribly wrong!

Funny, but yikes! I wouldn't read this to my kids without a lot of dire warnings.

Wonderfully silly, and demonstrates proper scientific methods.
